Every five years, the Town updates our hazard mitigation plan, upholding our commitment to keeping our community safe. This plan contains strategies for responding to flooding, drought, wildfire, and other environmental hazards and outlines detailed action plans aimed at limiting injury and property damage. I, along with the Town, am committed to continuously updating our planning to ensure eligibility for both federal and state assistance. Our ability to adapt to environmental risks and overall preparedness for unexpected events (like the COVID pandemic) is crucial in ensuring a safe Corte Madera.
