Adopt Sewer Master Plan - YES

The approval of the Sanitary Sewer Master Plan marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to maintaining a reliable sewer system. This plan will guide our efforts and investments over the next decade, ensuring the continued health, safety, and well-being of our community. The Sewer Master Plan is an initiative aimed at ensuring the long-term functionality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of our town’s sanitary sewer system. This plan will help in continued maintenance of public health, reduction of environmental contamination, and a guide for future capital improvement. There are three key objectives to this plan: infrastructure assessment and rehabilitation; regulatory compliance; and equity and risk management.  These commitments are integral to the master plan. On April 20th, 2021, the we approved a contract with GHD, an engineering consultant, to develop the master plan.
