Approve $700k to Repave Granada Drive - YES

Public Works planned to repave Granada Drive as part of our 2022 roadwork project. However, this was postponed in order to coordinate with the Marin Municipal Water District, which had to repair pipelines under the roadway. To make up for the delay, they've offered to split the cost of the roadwork with us, which we gratefully accepted.

The Granada Drive Pipeline Replacement Project will now combine the Town’s road resurfacing and pipeline work. Aligning the timelines will avoid newly paved roads being excavated for pipeline work and minimize costs of repaving.This collaboration ensures necessary infrastructure improvements while minimizing future road damage and disruptions.
