Casa Buena is an important thoroughfare in our community and residents of the area have long asked for safety improvements to be made to the street. The Casa Buena Complete Streets Project has been in planning since 2015, aiming to enhance pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. It addresses community concerns and aligns with the 2016 Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan's priority for a safer bike lane. This project closes gaps in Marin County's primary bike route and enhances safety with new road surfacing, sidewalk expansions, and additional safety features like solar-powered street lighting.
