Award <$3.8M Contract for Madera Gardens Sewer Repairs - YES

We voted to approve the plans and award a contract for a maximum price of $3.8M for the Madera Gardens Storm & Sewer Rehabilitation Project. This process includes soliciting bids, and then award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder under our maximum price. The project itself aims to fix old and deficient sewer systems in the Madera Gardens area to prevent water from getting into the sewer pipes and improve the overall system. Once this is finished, the roads in this neighborhood will be resurfaced as part of a future project. During this work, we will also help residents repair their private sewer laterals, should they be required to do so.
