Create Sidewalk Pilot Program - YES

Under the law, every homeowner is legally responsible for maintaining the sidewalk in front of their house in safe condition. Of course, we realize that can be a burden for residents, and we take every opportunity we find to help lighten the load.

The Sidewalk Pilot Program is just one such opportunity. I voted yes to create a program that would help residents by splitting the cost of sidewalk maintenance with them, and that would get residents along roads that are being repaved a better deal on sidewalk repairs by using the Towns coordinating power to help them "buy in bulk."
