If you live in California, the big lesson of the past years is that wildfires are getting worse and worse, and that fire season is starting earlier and earlier. Homeowners are doing everything they can to protect their property and harden their houses against fire, and I believe it's critical that the Town do our part to help. That's why I voted yes on amendments to the Town's Tree Ordinance that will allow homeowners to remove certain fire-prone tree species without needing to get a tree permit first.
