Move Corte Madera Elections from June to November - YES

The state of California seems to love nothing more than moving its elections, and this year they're back at it again—for the second or third time since I've been on the Town Council. Because Corte Madera's elections are tied to state elections, every time the state moves their elections, we have to move ours as well.

The downside is we are going through this song and dance once again, but the upside is that, with this latest change, we are finally landing on an election schedule that I believe makes logical sense and is likely to boost turnout—always a plus!

Going forward, Corte Madera's elections will be held as part of the November general elections. I am hopeful we will not need to make any more changes to our election schedule for many years to come.
